TSG Solutions is led by seasoned executives with proven experience managing technology companies, providing responsible corporate governance, and recruiting and retaining personnel to achieve customer and company expectations.
Our executive team includes:
John Iffland, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board: John Iffland, who is a retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General, joined TSG in February, 2005 as member of the Board of Directors. In April, 2009 General Iffland became the CEO and in May, 2011 became the Chairman of the board. His focus will remain on rapidly expanding into new markets with complimentary service and software offerings, growing the company’s current base of GIS, technical services and digital imaging software, while continuing to broaden the corporate structure and developing and recruiting Senior Executive and Professional staff.
Executive level experience includes Vice President, International, with Argon ST where he developed new businesses in physical security and related programs while also establishing a branch of the company in the Middle East. Prior, he was Chairman of the Board and COO of Coherent Systems International, responsible for establishing a new corporate structure and processes for the rapidly growing company while developing new businesses and service offerings. Corporate revenues were doubled in eighteen months prior to being acquired by Argon ST in 2007. In his final military assignment, General Iffland was the Homeland Security Advisor to the Director, Air National Guard. General Iffland possesses a BS from California State University and a MA from Central Michigan University.
Dan O’Neill, Senior Vice President Eastern Operations: Dan O’Neill has 20 years of military and security industry experience and has been the principal in charge of over 100 security consulting engagements. Dan possesses extensive risk management, emergency response, counter terrorism and suicide bomber prevention experience. He and is an author of several well-respected works on Risk Management and Threat Assessment. Dan is a former Captain, US Army, is an Honor Graduate from U.S. Army Ranger School and was a recipient of the Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award. Dan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Northeastern University.
Gene Garcia, Senior Vice President Business Development: Gene Garcia is a Senior Vice President and has responsibility for business development activities. Gene is one of the first employees of TSG Solutions and has been instrumental in developing TSG Solutions’ technology, processes, and workforce. Gene is a former federal officer and possesses special response force training and field experience.
Kelly Mundell, Vice President Western Operations: Kelly Mundell has been with TSG Solutions' site visualization and digital mapping program since 2003. As a veteran of TSG Solutions, Kelly provides the overall program management and leadership to deliver the highest quality services and solutions on-time and within budget. Kelly attended California State University, San Marcos, CA.
