It is Tactical Survey Group's policy to ensure that the completed Tactical Surveys will not be released outside of Tactical Survey Group for any reason, and only the Client can authorize any showing, release, or production of Tactical Surveys. Tactical Survey Group coordinates with the site’s authorized representative to determine distribution of the Survey.

Yes. Your GIS contains comprehensive information about the outside of your buildings and the surrounding areas. All of this information can be queried or displayed as layers on your maps. In creating the Tactical Survey®, Tactical Survey Group’s skilled data collection Specialists capture detailed information about the interior and exterior of your buildings, and if integrated into your GIS data, can also be displayed as map layers and queried just the same.
Back To Top - How long does it take to process the Tactical Survey after the Tactical Survey Group Survey Specialists have left the facility?
Normally Tactical Survey Group anticipates doubling the amount of time required for field data collection to complete the entire data processing procedures.
Example: 4 weeks collecting field data on-site at Client facility = 8 approx weeks of lab processing at Tactical Survey Group secure processing facilities.
Back To Top - Does TSG provide an on-site training program for the Tactical Survey?
Tactical Survey Group provides User Training in the form of multiple 3-hour classroom training sessions. The schedule for training is coordinated with the designated site representative. This training provides in person instruction on the use of the Tactical Survey, and incorporates scenarios which illustrate examples of how the Tactical Survey can be effectively leveraged during a crisis event. Training is normally conducted in a Client-provided training room environment. The Client will need to provide a sufficient number of computers for each class. Optimal class size is 12, but actual class size is limited only by the size and resources available to accommodate the desired number of trainees. The emphasis of the training is to introduce all potential users to the Tactical Survey System, and to teach them how to use the site information now compiled into one software application.
Back To Top - How can I update the Tactical Survey after it is complete?
Tactical Survey Group provides the Client with its TacAdmin tool which gives the Client the ability to locally change textual information within the Site Information section of the delivered Tactical Survey software applications. However, the Client may find it more efficient to outsource such changes and updates to Tactical Survey Group Specialists.
Additionally, Tactical Survey Group is continually developing new features for the Tactical Survey System and determining an update plan with Tactical Survey Group will ensure your Survey is always maintaining optimal performance.
Back To Top - Is there a separate training class for TacAdmin?
Yes - this is arranged/requested as needed by the Client. Training can be conducted on-site or by WebEx depending on the requesting client's needs.
Back To Top - How will updates be made to the Tactical Survey if there are structural changes to my surveyed facility?
Tactical Survey Group offers on-site update plans which include changes/modifications to panoramic images, ingress/egress routes, aerial animations, utility shutoffs, or other site feature that requires a site visit after a Tactical Survey has been delivered.
Normally, on-site updates result from building modifications, such as relocating walls, windows, and other major renovations. Tactical Survey Group provides 3 different annual maintenance plans that address changes at Client sites.
Back To Top - How often does the Tactical Survey need to be updated through a maintenance program?
Tactical Survey Group personnel will work with your site’s designated representative to determine a schedule for visiting sites where structural modifications have been or are scheduled to be made. Our experience has shown us that on-site updates normally occur once a year for each surveyed site. Tactical Survey Group personnel will return to the given site and re-capture any areas that have undergone construction or where walls may have been moved, and incorporate all changes into the web-based system. Text based updates for critical site information are administered by authorized site personnel through the TacAdmin interface.

Yes. Each Survey disc can be password protected if requested by the Client. The Assignment and Authorization of individual user accounts is performed by the Client’s staff.

The Tactical Survey System can be delivered on any of the above media devices, however CDs are the most commonly preferred.
